Tangub City Global College (TCGC) Embarks on International Collaboration at the Quaquarelli Symonds (QS) Higher Ed Summit 2024

TCGC’s College President, and Secretary of ALCU Philippines, Dr. Maricelle M. Nueva, has recently taken a significant step toward global engagement by participating in the 3rd Philippine LCUs Global Engagement at the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2024 held from November 4-9, 2024 in Macau, China. This milestone marks the beginning of TCGC’s initiative to foster meaningful connections with academic institutions among Local Universities and Colleges (LCUs) in the Philippines.

The college extends its sincere gratitude to the Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU) Philippines and the Commission on Accreditation for Local Colleges and Universities (ALCUCOA), led by the Associations’ President, Dr. Raymund P. Arcega for their unwavering support in advancing this global collaboration.

Likewise, TCGC expresses appreciation to the Tangub City Officials, spearheaded by the City Mayor and Chair of the TCGC Board of Trustees, Sabiniano S. Canama for their invaluable support in this endeavor. Guided by its core values of integrity, compassion, and excellence, TCGC is committed to creating transformative opportunities that empower its students and faculty to thrive on the international stage.

This global summit was filled with insightful discussions, innovative presentations, and collaborative networking opportunities, all aimed at expanding possibilities and exploring the evolving landscape of higher education in the Philippines. Through these efforts, LCUs continue to play crucial role in the nation’s educational landscape.
