An on-site inspection of campus facilities for the upcoming limited face-to-face classes of Midwifery students was recently done at Gov. Alfonso D. Tan College, Activity Hall, July 8.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region X evaluators that were welcomed to the said event were: Dr. Arlita Ampola B. Minguez, CHED Regional Office (RO)–10 supervisor; Engr. Ma Carmela A. Roa, DOH RO They were accompanied by Dr. Janice C. Biete, Local IATF representative and Dr. Jennifer D. Figueroa, City Health Office representative.

A short program that started at 8:30 am today was conducted to recognize the arrival of the evaluators. The two-day evaluation started today, July 8 and will end tomorrow, July 9.

This inspection is conducted to check if the school is following the standards set by the CHED for the conduct of face-to-face classes during this pandemic.

In addition, this will also be for the preparation of the clinical internship of the students from the Institute of Midwifery (IOM).
