After conducting the ceremonial turnover of the learning tablets from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tangub transpired, Gov. Alfonso D. Tan College released its schedule of the distribution of tablets starting October 27 at 8:00 am.
Students who will be claiming their tablets are obliged to bring the following requirements: School ID (or any I.D. as proof of identity); receipt of the payment; the Special Power of Attorney (SPA); and school credentials for first-year students and transferees.
Ensuring the students' and faculty's safety that will facilitate the distribution is at its utmost care. Everyone is advised to wear a face mask and a face shield, also provided that they bring their ball pen and alcohol or sanitizer.
Assigned faculty and admins will accommodate 350 students (50 students per hour) every day from 8:00 am–5:00 pm.
For students to be guided, this is the process of claiming the tablets they must abide: 1). Pre/Rechecking of Documents, which will happen at GATE 2; Step 2). Submission and Collection of Data (Grandstand), which will be facilitated by the staff of the Registrar's Office; Step 3). Collection of Special Power of Attorney (SPA) and distribution of learning tablets (Annex building lobby), which will also be assisted by the College Information System Office (CISO); and Step 4). Orientation and navigation of the learning tablets will be aided by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA). He also added that during the first batch of the distribution, they did not encounter any problems as the students dutifully followed each of the steps. Successfully, they were able to activate the learning tablets and the sim cards with no difficulties.
GADTC will try their best to distribute the tablets to all Alfonsos within this week for them to attend online classes with much ease.
